Birthday joy
Clare and her husband live in the woods of Minnesota.
She earned three BA degrees in theater and speech, humanities, and costuming arts. When working in costuming turned into drudgery, she went back to school, graduated from a broadcasting school, and worked in radio for many years. As a young mother, she later commuted to Iowa State University and earned an MS in journalism and mass communications. She taught at Iowa State for many years and also worked in public relations for a community college and later for the City of Ames. She’s been published dozens of times as a freelance writer and now has three published novels.
Her first two novels received five-star reviews from Readers’ Favorite, a national book review site.
